for me l4d is a shite game, I've played no more than 10hrs and could'nt play any more, its just so bloody boring. You can only kill zombies for so long and it becomes sleeping country for me. l4d2 is one game I won't be getting.

I can assure you that a versus game involving hysterical freaks like myself and Jase, with all talk on and the mic set to open is great fun!

Really couldn't be bothered with the single player though!

Aye. Personally I can't wait. I think it's going to be a bit like Microsoft with Vista & Windows 7. Take all that was good, fix all the stuff that was bad (and there isn't much bad about L4D in my book apart from the way you are forced to join a random server rather than create a lobby in your own) and chuck in a load of new cool toys to play with.

Thinking about it and watching the trailers, I just don't find it as good at day, no where near as engrossing or scary or atmospheric, whereas just about every zombie film ever (except shaun of the dead and deadset) have most of their scenes at night when everything is 10x as scary. Sure, the game will probably be good but it won't be as thrilling as the original. Imho
