Honestly, lots of the stuff the are about to include to L4D2, for example melee weapons are not exactly difficult to add to the existing game. Daytime + Sunshine ? Change the Skybox of the map. They haven't even released a proper SDK (map and mod development tools) for L4D yet. I mean, come on ? The game was released in November 2008 and we still cannot create custom maps without some hassle.

It's more of a "EA popular sports game 200X" release cycle. I feel annoyed.

I'm with you kab, I've been feeling a bit pissed off with valve recently and this does nothing to help, maybe they are starting to loose their way. If it's a £10 or something I'll buy it but anything more then that I doubt it unless they bring some really good features out, at the moment it just looks to be more of the same.

for me l4d is a shite game, I've played no more than 10hrs and could'nt play any more, its just so bloody boring. You can only kill zombies for so long and it becomes sleeping country for me. l4d2 is one game I won't be getting.

It has that affect but it's better with a good group of players on versus. The other modes can be repetitive.

They just want more money, I think they could've just added sunshine to some maps with new weapons and new characters etc. All they needed to do, If I have money around the time it's out. I may get it, let's hope for more stuff later on. Theres a vid on Gametrailers of it from a cam and theres bits like the people go thru your body when healing u and zombies getting stuck in gates. Whoops ^^
