Well you still have to deal with the smokers, and the nature of this deal is that you constantly have a large mob of zombies below you that are hard to shoot (game wont progress until you kill them all), the plane is in the way - if you get dragged down by a smoker or get knocked off by the tank throwing debris, it's an insta death. I actually kind of prefer just getting ontop of that van better.

The patch is this week i think, fixing them (dunno if all of them)

There is also an exploit that allows the infected team to spawn ai controlled boss infected. Usually in the form of 10 to 20 hunters blocking a chokepoint.

About breaking the wall down and skipping "crescendo" zombie swarm events. If you listen to the developer commentary, it becomes pretty clear that these are not supposed to be skipped.

  • Fixed Survivors being able to climb surfaces marked for versus infected only
    Fixed mini-gun physics exploit
    Fixed several map exploits
    Normalized special infected melee damage
    Increased Minimum damage a Hunter pounce does
    Survivors cannot bash someone off the tongue until the Survivor being pulled is paralyzed or hanging
    Tongue attacks that fail to paralyze or hang a Survivor will use the shorter ability delay timer
    Smoker tongue does damage every second while dragging paralyzed Survivors
    Reduced autoshotgun damage against Tanks

Has anyone messed with the minigun one?

It's pretty funny, you can get it to where you hop on top and it launches your forward like 100m!
