Hmmm, that Strider page is very interesting, with one part being particularly interesting indeed.....

THIS FILE IS BEING REPOSTED AFTER CONFERRING WITH THE MODERATORS AND CHECKING VALVES "RULES"
FOR CONTENT USAGE. THIS MAP IS NOT ILLEGAL. THE CONTENT IT USES IS NOT FROM THE HALF LIFE 2
GAME FILES, BUT FROM THE SOURCE ENGINE SHARED CONTENT (C:\Program
Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\source 2007 shared materials.gcf,source 2007 shared models.gcf,
source 2007 shared sounds.gcf, etc.) WHICH IS INSTALLED WITH AND AVAILABLE TO EVERY PC VERSION
OF TEAM FORTRESS 2 WHETHER AS PART OF THE ORANGE BOX OR NOT AND CAN LEGALLY BE INCLUDED
ACCORDING TO VALVES OWN CONTENT SHARING RULES (MOD CONTENT USAGE/SOURCE). YOU CAN SPAWN ALL OF
THE HALF LIFE 2 CONTENT FROM THIS MOD IN TF2

Right so, does the above mean that it would be quite easy to throw a few exploding barrels into a TF2 Map?
If so, why the hell hasn't anyone done that yet?

Seriously, if any of our map making members out there want to make something really fun, see if you can work out a way to randomly drop barrels from the sky.

Or imagine being a scout and being able to bat a barrel at a sentry gun and then shoot it with your pistol??

If this is a possibility, please can some try it out?

mario_kart has quite a few barrels scattered around at the beginning of a match. The fire particles are missing, but the sound is still there and it blows up dealing heavy damage alright. They don't respawn on the map though, but I'm sure that could easily be sorted out.

Great work on the MM server fest!
Only thing I'd like to see is a special demo jump map like
jump_king
jump_aznbob
jump_bob
jump_khoa
jump_hobo2
Vids of all these maps completed
Look forward to sticky jumping around with yas soon :)
