i spotted a guy called redemz using a blowback script like what santa had at one point, it had to be a script as there was no way a blowback goes that fast even after the tweaks valve made, i told johnimus bout it.

Not a script, it was that flame/blowback glitch thing. Don't need a script to it.

Unless I'm very mistaken, a script can't make the blowbacks work any faster. All scripts can do is combine moves into one key bind, including waiting x seconds in between moves. Nothing a script can do can make it go faster than just holding down the button.

Well it sounds like a hack in the case, I don't think the glitch actually blew stuff back, it just looked rapid. Again I could be wrong. We'll keep an eye out for this guy though. Cheers dragoon

If I recall right there was a visual only glitch that made the flamethrower use blowback animation instead of flames. If the blowbacks indeed are that fast then it's a hack.

I did have a look and started recording a demo, and thought it was ok - but I didn't see enough to really get a good idea. He swopped classes within a couple of mins of me recording so i don;t have anything concrete. We will keep an eye out though.
